The Star-Tiger Rurouni
BIOMETRIC SCAN
Ren's father, Kress, was a mid-class Saiyan warrior stranded on the Ctarl-Ctarl homeworld after a hyperdrive malfunction. Upon arrival, his scouter shattered while scanning a local villager, forcing the realization that he was not the apex predator. He adapted to the wilds, eventually clashing with a powerful native huntress named Zala. Their duel—pitting his aerial martial arts against her raw physical dominance—ended in a stalemate, evolving into a union built on absolute warrior's respect.
Deemed a biological aberration by the High Council, the family was targeted by an elite "Ant-Men" extermination squad. Kress utilized a sacrificial self-destruct technique to vaporize the first wave, buying Zala moments to secure Ren in his repaired Saiyan Attack Pod. Zala fell defending the launch bay, launching her daughter into deep space moments before their home was incinerated.
Salvaged by the Outlaw Star (Post-Galactic Leyline events), Ren was raised by the crew. She wears her father's vintage Frieza Force armor not as a uniform, but as the traditional garb of her lost tribe. Under Gene Starwind's reluctance and Melfina's grace, she adopted the title of "Rurouni"—a wanderer protecting her found family.
"I don't need to aim if I'm holding you by the throat."
Ren lacks the fine Ki control for long-range beams. Instead, she uses energy blasts for propulsion (The Scatter-Dash), launching herself off surfaces to close distance instantly.
Focuses unstable Ki around her fingers to create jagged energy blades. These can parry starship weapons, shred hull plating, or anchor her body in zero-gravity combat.
Utilizes the brown prehensile tail to strangle or restrain limbs while the blue tail acts as a gyroscope. This allows her to grapple opponents without occupying her hands.
Upon exposure to full moon waves (Zeno-Spectrum), Ren undergoes a unique biological reversion combining the Oozaru and Ctarl-Ctarl beast forms.
The only person capable of stopping the Berserker State. Melfina's singing voice resonates with Ren's ki, forcing a reversion to base form.
Constantly plagued by Ren's hybrid appetite which threatens the ship's finances. Despite the food debt, he taught her that lineage doesn't define honor.
Initially rejected Ren as a "mongrel." Changed her mind after 5-year-old Ren caught her fist and threw her across the cargo bay. Now claims credit for Ren's power.
